The SDSU logo must appear in the top left or right corner on all campus web pages. The logo is available for download on this website.

All SDSU logos must be hyperlinked to SDSU’s home page:


Rules in the “Logo Use” section of this site and in the SDSU Graphic Identity Manual apply to all websites. Please read them before publishing a new website, or modifying an existing one.


The use of official university colors is strongly encouraged. Doing so establishes a consistent appearance between websites that projects the unity, strength and professionalism of San Diego State University.

Size and Clear Space Guidelines

Primary Logo

130 pixels wide with 14 pixels of clear space on all sides.

Horizontal Logo

150 pixels wide with 14 pixels of clear space on all sides.

Multiple Logos

We recommend using a single primary logo on web pages. Multiple logos may confuse the audience.

Do not use logos to link to external websites. Exceptions will be made for links to official SDSU social media sites.
