All Campus Survey
Students, faculty and staff are invited to participate in an anonymous all-campus survey about generative AI (GenAI), such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot. The survey window is Monday, Sept. 22 through Monday, Oct. 6.

Messaging
- All campus members–students, staff, and faculty–are invited to participate in an anonymous survey about generative AI, such as ChatGPT.
- Starting Monday, Sept. 22 through Monday, Oct. 6, students, faculty, and staff will have the opportunity to provide their input on how these emerging technologies are shaping our campus community.
- The CSU AI Survey is completely anonymous and will help guide [specific CSU] in creating a thoughtful and responsive approach to GenAI. As a bonus, survey participants can enter to win [university determined prizes].
- The survey will provide a snapshot of the [specific CSU] community’s GenAI-related needs and desires, supporting a locally responsive campus approach to this potentially game-changing technology.
- We encourage everyone to respond so that all points of view are represented. The survey link is https://aisurvey.calstate.edu.
- Additionally, we are encouraging instructors to consider setting aside time in their classes for students to complete the survey, as it could lead to meaningful discussions around GenAI’s benefits, challenges, and the ethical considerations involved in its use.
